We were treated to a great game in Boston last night. The visiting team overcame Boston’s early 1-0 lead with a couple of home runs over the Green Monster. Then Boston scored three in the seventh to rally 4-3. They held on from there for the win.
Along the way, we grabbed dinner at the ballpark (the concessions guy gave Beth a discount and a free water on account of her accent), sang Take Me Out to the Ballpark and Sweet Caroline between innings, and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves amongst a festive crowd of Bostonians.
Oh yeah, and with my UT pullover on, I was that lone Tennessee fan in the crowd. You can find ‘um at every sporting event. 😉
